It’s better to be your genuine self, and have fewer of the right kinds of people in your life, than it is to surround yourself with those who only accept you as long as you conform to their idea of who you should be.
Remember kids, if a social media feature is ‘only available’ for US users, that means it’s probably so full of flagrant violations of EU privacy laws that you might as well just start sending your bank info to Nigerian princes too.
Relatedly I should mention that the US website Healthline is unusable over here if you decline their tracking cookies. It literally redirects you to a page that explains you’re viewing Healthline Europe and so most of its content will be unavailable, but you can see their content if you just accept their cookies :)

If you have bodily autonomy, then there is always a chance that you will do something to your body that you will regret. This is not an argument for taking that autonomy away.
There is a much, much higher chance that someone who is not you will do something to your body that you regret.
